caller to C Span yesterday, during coverage of the Pope’s visit:
“Francis is coming on the day before Jewish highest holy day. The traffic will make it very hard for Jews to get to service. This seems very inconsiderate. Someone should have planned this better.”
Not surprising – uppity snobs often fail to check their privilege.
” The traffic will make it very hard for Jews to get to service. This seems very inconsiderate. Someone should have planned this better.”
13 million Jews —–1 billion Catholics.
They should get Bibi to bomb the Vatican.
You wrote: “They should get Bibi to bomb the Vatican.”
False flag scenario: blow up the Vatican, blame it on Muslims (ISIS, perhaps), 9/11 cubed (a New New Pearl Harbor), kick off Armageddon and the Clash of Civilizations endgame. It’s probably on the drawing board already. A twofer.
Other potential targets: Washington, DC (the White House), Berlin, Paris, etc.
The neocon strategy has been obvious for decades: provoke a holy war between Christendom and Islam.
(One should pay close attention to the torrent of hate speech that has been flowing from pro-Israel activists against the Vatican during recent years — on a scale that matches that of anti-Muslim hate speech. The truth is, they hate nearly everyone — including the White House and the United States.)
Regarding false flag ops — just noticed this:
Phil Mennitti/The Illusion of Democracy
(Haven’t read it yet — looks interesting.)
Nice share, Sean. Thank you.

Yea, the Perfect Storm is converging with Russia asserting its interest in the ME.
Poor parasite Israel–which way does it hop?—does it pursue a relationship and ‘pivot’ to Russia (and China)—-can it hang on to all the US billions and Un vetos if it does?
I am sure while Israel is sticking its nose under every tent sniffing out the possibilities, if the possibilities dont work —-if they decide they are afraid of Russia because they dont control its government –they will false flag something to get the US and Russia at each others throats.
Its their standard play, dress up like Arabs and bomb something.
Or dress up as brunette women: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_Israeli_raid_on_Lebanon#Background
Little has changed since Operation Susannah and the Lavon Affair — same playbook.
What I find so interesting is Israeli is punching way above its weight in every regard. It really has nothing to offer, not IT , not weapons, nothing one cant get from dozens of other countries, not any natural mineral resources and its new gas field is predicted to only last for 10 years of domestic and export use.
Yet Netanyahu seems to believe it is some kind of power house with lots to offer. When the only thing it really has to offer is the US weapons it is loaded with—and in any conflict or war they wouldn’t last long , someone would have to resupply them or they would have to use their own Israeli products and inferior weapons thereby losing a lot of $$$ they make from exporting them.
As far as I can see its only the Isr-USA relationship that other countries are interested in re Israel—- some who want to use its US lobby to get some US goodies or policies like India did—-others who want to curtail the US interference in the ME by splitting the US-Isr scheme–taking Israel out of the equation of US actions.
I wish Isr would pivot to Russia. The I- Fifth Column in congress would be out doing themselves with spin on how that would be o.k. and not interfere with US-Isr relationship and no reason to stop the US billions to Israel. But then US neos might get hot and we could see them spitting with the I-Firsters.
Regarding Cloak and Dagger’s problems in keeping his blog up:
All Mondoweiss commenters are probably being closely tracked by pro-Israel cyberwarriors — haven’t they figured that out yet?
And they are trying to disrupt their opponents by any means available, fair or foul. Welcome to the cyberwar era. They are basically trying to shut down all free speech they dislike — and to obstruct freedom of assembly among their opponents.
In terms of hacking expertise, they are several steps ahead of Cloak and Dagger. And they have vastly greater human resources to draw upon, in terms of sheer numbers and dedication.
I haven’t been able to get on C&D’s blog something (I think) in my security settings (which are controlled by Norton) wont let me on.
I’d like to get on it but after trying to fiddle around with the problem a dozen times I gave up.
Dont have the same problem with wordpress for whatever reason.
I think I will get rid of Norton, too intrusive, and try Avast…what do you think of Avast, it says it updates itself every day.
Hey American, Cloak’s blog’s been hacked again. It’s what he said to me. He’s too busy to get into repairs for the time being. Hope this clears it for you.
I ditched Norton years ago — am currently using AVG — but AVG is now selling the private data it collects on its users to third parties.
To be honest, I don’t trust any of these “security” software programs. I’ve gradually come to the conclusion that all of our online activities are fully transparent to dozens or hundreds of organizations.
Regarding Cloak and Dagger’s efforts to try to evade the prying eyes and hacks of sophisticated players — I always thought it was a waste of time.
Windows 10 is now perhaps the most sophisticated piece of surveillance software out there for the general public.
“what do you think of Avast, it says it updates itself every day.” (American)
Avast was written about a couple of days back, Daily update most probably to pick up data from your account to be harvested:
“…Avast, which also provides free security software, explains that it is able to collect certain non-personal information and sell it to advertisers. The company does not specify that this includes browser and search history data.”
Without a doubt, Mondoweiss on Friendfeed was also relentlessly hacked — and I was very reluctant to come to that conclusion — I always look for innocent tech explanations first.
One cyberwar tactic used is to make it difficult or impossible for people to login. They don’t want to make it too obvious that they are maliciously hacking targeted sites.
One advantage of using mainstream platforms like WordPress, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ — they are major institutions with the means to detect and provide defenses against hackers — they have reputations to protect as brands — they require the absolute trust of their users.
More marginal and independent sites are soft targets for hackers.
just watched the Pope in mobile parading around DC. A Secret Service man walked to the crowd and carried a baby to the Pope to kiss.
What would happen if Bibi did such a circuit in DC?
Would you want Bibi to kiss your baby?
nb. the crowds in DC are crazy w/ affection; “Papa, Papa; We love you!”
Can you imagine “Bibi, Bibi, we love you” from anyone other than Carly Fiorina?
Ah! But the Pope never got a single congressional standing ovation. That’s how team Bibi would spin it.
Yeah American catholics are excited woohoo! I’m excited that they’re excited woohoo! The Pope’s title aside, he does come across like a really nice dude. Not like the last one – that Benedict, what a stiff chap he turned out to be.
I’m excited and I’m not even Catholic!..LOL
But full disclaimer…I had a Jesuit Uncle, my mother’s brother, and we went to Catholic schools, kindergarten thru boarding school at his insistence .
I developed a healthy respect for the Jesuit intelligentsia. If you want to burn any Jewish ‘pilpul’ to the ground put a Jesuit up to debate them…and watch them bleed out on stage.
If the Vatican ever decides to become political —actively that is—watch out. The Jesuits were playing politics in Asia and its wars before the Jews even got out of the ghetto.
It was great to have the pope visit the US to talk about things that no pope has previously addressed. He came with a message of love for all, etc.
Now contrast that with the leader of the Jewish People, Netanyahu, who came here only recently to Congress to lobby for war on behalf of Israel.
What stark differences. Francis could have said in Congress (courtesy of Chavez, 2006) ‘”The devil came here yesterday, and it smells of sulfur still today, this table that I am now standing in front of.’ lol.
That’s a great contrast to bring up, Chu. Has the Pope ever asked us for tax dollars to cover his personal security? The security of the Vatican? Nope and nope. And the Arab so-called ‘moderate’ leaders who visit us – okay they’re warmongers too but at least they give us money and gifts of gold trinkets when they visit our private gun showrooms.
Definitely, the worst guest leader we’ve ever-ever-ever had is Benjamin Netanyahu, king of Apartheid israel.
The pope doesn’t have the air of entitlement that King Yahu has. I think seeing the pope may be a new reckoning to Catholics that they are hell of a more moral people than Bibi and his parasitic warmongering clan.
But word has it that Yahu is the last leader before moshiach will arrive. http://yearsofawe.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-yichus-of-last-mashiach-ben-yosef.html
Can’t wait till they pass the baton on that one…
btw: Is there a location for noting where new replied comments are? Word press would have them in the upper right corner. thanks.
No, sorry – but I will talk to my tech about it.
I need to iron out bumps like that – improve the visitor’s experience.
Thanks for telling me this because my experience of the blog is actually completely different to everybody else – I navigate most of the time through the dashboard – most of the time, for comments, I’m on the comments page that has all comments from all threads so I don’t really have to be looking for anything or going anywhere else. So if you guys don’t tell me where the bumps are, I may not discover them for months, or ever.
Anymore bumps that you experience, please leave me notice of them on the ‘Welcome’ thread – I’m collecting ‘improvement notes’ for the site over there.
ok. sure. I should have done that, but forgot.
— Pope Francis (“The King of the Roman Catholics”) vs. Benjamin Netanyahu (“The King of the Jews”) — a few points of comparison —
+policies on ethnocentrism and racism
+policies on radical wealth inequality
+policies on the environment
+policies on war and peace
Like day and night.
To what degree are we witnessing an ever-widening divide between mainstream Christianity and Judaism?
I agree. The distinctions between the two leaders could not be more clear.Although many will say the pope’s visit to a Philly correctional facility was a PR move, you would never see Netanyahu make such a visit. The only place he’s headed to is D.C. and to East Hampton/Martha’s Vineyard to hang with his warmongering buddies.
