It would seem to be the case that the immoral creation of the state of Israel revived with it the decrepit Talmudic desert superstitions and narcissistic tribalism that have directly led to the violence and terrorism we are witnessing today. Talmudism is now in its most dangerous state: it has evolved from a hapless fringe sub sect and into a powerful and destructive military instrument hellbent on creating the darkest of shackles for humanity. Hellbent on ‘cleansing’ the world from its (complex) sins – purging the stains of humanity through merciless fire.
Annihilating populations in the name of religious conformity; mass-murdering in the name of an invisible so-called god. This is the essence of Talmudism, as a mind-set.
But it’s worse than that. Now we have secular empires and global politicians (contemporary imperialists) in partnership with global Talmudists – both warring against independent Universalist individuals and institutions that aspire to create an all-inclusive, equitable and tolerant world.
The horrific violence we are all so appalled to witness these days has been caused by this unholy alliance between Western imperialism and global Talmudism as they both seek larger control and subjugation of humanity.
It is by now common knowledge that the Takfiri terrorist army and its sleeper cells around the world are the creation of America, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, France and the UK. I’ve stopped watching the news or reading the paper, things are too damn depressing. I’ve been trying to think logically and can only say that this cycle is bound to continue as long as official bodies support overthrowing everyone from Gaddafi to Saddam, as long as they believe some people are more chosen than others. I would need to properly digest the bulking information and ponder the statistics before I can form a worthy opinion on this subject. Big food for big thought, that’s for sure.
I think genetic factors may have played (and continue to play) an important role in civilizational and cultural conflicts and wars since the dawn of human history. We need to explore and map this dimension of human behavior in as much detail as possible — with the objective of trying to acquire more control over our self-destructive behavior. What really makes us tick?
A question that increasingly intrigues me: why are some individuals, and some ethnic groups, so much more ethnocentric than others?
As I’ve mentioned before, ethnocentric attitudes are easy to track and graph — simply count up the number of ethnocentric references in the discourse of any party. (With contemporary text and sentiment mining tools, that is easy to do.)
There is a tight correlation between ethnocentric behavior and ethnic conflict — the more ethnocentric you are, the more ethnic conflict you provoke with ethnic outsiders. It’s a no-brainer, really — nothing mysterious about it (in terms of visible social dynamics). Live by ethnocentrism, die by ethnocentrism.

Okay, I’ve digested the link info and here’s my quick 2cents.
Although I find the research information absolutely fascinating, I somehow feel the writer is over-sympathetic with Cro-Magnons (early humans), constantly casting them as victims of cleverer yet more violent ‘toxic lozenges’ (semites/christian, muslim and jew) – he’s practically calling all semites subhuman and non-semites full human. Some of his choice of wording is very bothersome too – politely discriminatory.
But essentially, I always find it problematic when researchers divide semites into jew and Arab (the author does). The ancient hebrews were Arabs living in desert tents like all ‘other’ pagan Arabs – there was no separation between them except in their belief systems. Here I have to add that 2 different pagan tribes would not necessarily share exact belief systems either. Lebanese internal security chief today said that they have identified and arrested the remaining gang of terrorists responsible for the terrorist bombing in Burj-Albarajne/Beirut two days ago (they did that in 48 hours).
He added that the original cell comprised of 3 Syrians and 2 Lebanese nationals. One Lebanese and two Syrians had suicided themselves in the op. The terrorist cell’s original plan was to set off 5 suicide bombers in a hospital in Burj-Albarajne, but tight security in this working-class Hezbollah-land neighborhood prevented the bombers from being able to do so. So they then changed their plans and opted for the easier soft target of setting off 3 suicide bombs on a busy single-lane, commercial road in the same neighborhood. Two bombers successfully detonated and the third one was killed by the second explosion before he was able to detonate himself – his body was discovered in the carnage and he was still wearing his un-detonated belt.
Yesterday, Hezbollah’s leader gave an impromptu speech and among other points he made, he offered sincere condolences to the innocents killed in the Paris attacks, saying that both Beirut and Paris were attacked by the same criminals – the Lebanon attacked had happened a mere two days before the Paris attacks. Have to agree with Tony on the Talmud. I attempted reading it several years ago and it was so convoluted and disgusting I gave up.
I actually ploughed through much of the Adin Steinsaltz edition of the Talmud at one time. There are interesting aspects to the text — in some ways it is a precursor to hypertext (a subject near and dear to my heart) — and it encourages the development of sophisticated skills in argumentation — one might say sophistical and Jesuitical argumentation in many cases — skilled Talmudists are capable of persuasively rationalizing anything.
But much of it is a barren wasteland in terms of content and style — I would much prefer to read the collected works of Homer, Shakespeare, Voltaire, Gibbon or Dickens.
The Torah (Old Testament), on the other hand, is an undeniably amazing work in terms of imaginative scope and flashes of literary brilliance. It also contains the seeds of the often destructive Abrahamic attitudes and belief systems I’ve mentioned in other comments. Without question, it has exerted enormous influence over Western civilization and world history. Abrahamists may well succeed in blowing up the planet.
By the way, the Old Testament is a major resource for exploring in depth every mental disorder and pattern of disordered thinking in the book (where the book could be DSM — Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders).

I don’t know, I wasn’t impressed or convinced. For instance in the Talmud or Torah–cant remember which off hand–in their discussions of property and stolen property and etc,. they wrote like 2000 words on a stolen/lost sheep arguing over if the stolen sheep must be returned if the keeper had fed it while in his possession and another 2000 words on whether or not the legitimate owner of the sheep should pay for the feeding of the sheep in order to get it back and another 2000 words on whether if the sheep sired or had a lamb in the meanwhile who the lamb belonged to. If I remember correctly they concluded that the lamb would belong to the person who stole or found the sheep.
They must have done a lot of stealing even back then….probably some Jews got beheaded for stealing an Arab’s Arabian horse and then trying to demand payment for it…LOL
If you want to see Talmudic and sophistical “reasoning” at work, examine neoconservative writings for the past few decades. They have been clever enough to maneuver the United States into the Iraq War, the Global War on Terror and the entire Clash of Civilizations. And they are still on a roll.
