Toward a Sensible, Coherent Trumpism – Publius Decius Mus/The Unz Review

by Newsstand

At the time of this writing, Donald Trump is in a commanding position to win the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. Naturally, Trump’s legions of enemies in what used to be called the “conservative movement” are flailing and despondent. They should be. Trump has, for now, more than revived his momentarily flagging campaign. And even if he is eventually defeated at the polls, this win boosts the chances that his ideas—if we may use such a lofty term for Trump’s as-yet unformed and instinct-driven platform—will outlive his candidacy. However, the JC complains that,  “there have been no moves as yet to discipline any of the students over the allegations.” The findings of the investigation have not been published. I guess that in observance of Jewish heritage the Zionist elders at the JC editorial board want to see some crucifixions.

These hostile actions are being basically ignored by the mass media and none of the presidential candidates in either party have addressed them in the debates except indirectly (Sanders and Clinton supporting NATO, Trump mentioning he wants to make a “deal” with Putin).

Netanyahu bet the future of US-Israel relations on the GOP. Now he has a Trump problem – Zack Beauchamp/Vox

by Newsstand

(Trump endorses Netanyahu re-election, 2013)

The rise of Donald Trump has terrified a lot of people around the world, and rightly so. But one person should be especially worried: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Trump, alone in the modern Republican Party, has tacked away from unconditional support for Israel. He has said he would take a “neutral” stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and suggested that if negotiations fail it might well be Israel’s fault.
