This is not an article, but a personal announcement.
We all know that members of the Axis of Resistance currently have the weapons, the intel, the training, and the indelible resolve to go to war with Israel and defeat it. They have both ability and capability to remove the illegal and immoral Jewish colony from existence altogether. A petrified Israel and its concerned allies also know this inevitability only too well. Therefore, the game being aggressively played by Israel right now is the ‘delay game’ that employs war-by-other-means. Anything but to face the Axis of Resistance on the battlefield. Anything! Anything will do for now, in the small hope that the future may change the current anemic chances of an Israeli victory in the next war. Therefore, what we all see presently is Israel and its Axis of Evil cabal employing political, diplomatic, economic, social and cyber warfare against all the Resistor nations, especially against the Lebanon: home of Hezbollah, whom Israel fears the most.
This current status quo of war-by-other-means can go on for months. Even for years. No one knows the exact date of the next war. But we all know that a BIG war is coming to the Levant. And we all know that the natives will be the victorious ones.
But, war tomorrow or not, daily life for us observers must still go on. Personal projects must still be completed. Personal dreams and bucket lists must continue to be pursued to one’s satisfaction. And all this, indeed, requires investing one’s time appropriately and methodically.
This past month or so, my personal circumstances have changed. To be clear, it was an internal change and not an external one. I have been feeling of late that my time spent on monitoring the multi-tentacles of the news is a waste of my time – that my interest in the methods and machinations of this Israeli ‘war-by-other-means’ is fast diminishing. I have asked myself to pinpoint what exactly is my political interest and to focus thus on it, and only on it. Time and again, the answer to this question has been the coming existential war against Israel. Nothing else interests me any more except for when the actual war clock strikes. ONLY THE COMING WAR INTERESTS ME. Not the desperate, Jewish bullshit incessantly shoveled out in the meantime. Not the Israeli-manufactured distractions and delays. Not even internal Lebanese politics interest me these days. To be sure, internal Lebanese affairs are only getting worse, but the wily Lebanese will figure it out eventually. Although it currently finds itself in dire straits as a nation, yet the Lebanon remains a major, regional power to reckon with. This is of great comfort as it is this very regional power, via Hezbollah, that assures me that victory for the Axis of Resistance is but merely awaiting on the horizon. The death of Israel is already a fait accompli, one could say.
Internal Syrian, Palestinian, Iraqi, Iranian, Yemeni, Algerian etc politics do not interest me either. They too will figure out their internal, political complications – complications that do not actually interfere with their readiness to go to war against the terrorist Jewish state. All the nations and members of the Axis of Resistance remain ready for war despite the manufactured internal crisis dumped on them by Israel and its Axis of Evil allies. The Axis of Resistance’s fighting forces and their war-architects are not distracted by internal strife – and they will never be distracted. They remain focused on the prize: the liberation of the whole of Historic Palestine that will bring with it the eviction of hostile, Western and Jewish interference in their national affairs.
As you all also know, I am not a journalist. My writing interests have always been more literary than journalistic. At this stage of my life, it is a waste of my time to give exceptional time to Israeli-manufactured political loops and ruses. Therefore, I have decided to spend my time immersed in literature and away from politics, till the BIG war breaks out. I am only interested in the war that will destroy modern Israel. Simply, nothing else is of political interest to me except the coming existential war that will liberate not just the Levant, but the Mideast region altogether.
There really is no more to say on this matter than this.
I hope, dear friends and readers, that the above explains my reluctance to continue to nurture Plato’s Guns on a daily basis via daily, current-affairs commentary and new articles.
In order to give readers a chance to comment on Plato’s new hiatus, I will have the comment section to this article open for a few days, after which, I will close it till war breaks out in the (hopefully sooner than later) future. Or, till a truly consequential and momentous event brings the Levant to the brink of war.
May we all live long enough to see the absolute crushing of the terrorist state of Israel and all of its evil allies.

Some of my literary writings involve the topic of war. Impossible to avoid this topic that currently canopies the world. But my literary approach to war is not political – rather, it deals with the human condition in times of war – it observes the highs and lows of the archetypal battle between good and evil.
If you will indulge me please, I will below share three examples of poems I've recently penned on the subject of war. I'm more inclined to share poetics than politics these days. I really cannot muster writing any political commentary. So very bored and utterly disgusted I am with politics these days.

Thanks, dear Peter. I do share your frustrations. George Galloway was married to a Palestinian lady and has 3 or 4 children by her, I believe. This, of course, does not negate the possibility of him being on mossad's payroll. Maybe yes, maybe no – you and I will never truly know. But what is evident in him is his fucking cowardice that indeed serves israel's interest. Only once in a millennial blue moon do we get a politician who is both righteous in thought and words, AND brave in deed. I live in the US and have a similar focus: the rise of the multifarious East and the decline, defeat, neutralizing, exhausting, whatever it takes to end the US Empire of Insanity. And to answer your question about my ‘other’ writings… Well, it’s like this: I am one of the rare people who does NOT actually want to be famous. It’s a real mental dilemma for me because all literary writers need to be published. When I start writing something new, I write with the vague aspiration of getting published, then soon as I’ve finished a project, I lose interest in selling it and just put it to the side: justifying this action with ‘art for art’s sake only’, or, ‘published or not, what difference does it make’? I’m a purist-nihilist in this regard. Perhaps this will change with the current project – am feeling less of a shrinking violet these days (I suffered from painful shyness throughout my childhood and my youth, and still get waves of it every now and then as a mature adult). I may now very well bypass the whole cold submission to publishers shebang and just go for self-publishing online – not really to make money (there’s usually no money in poetry or art-driven prose), but just for the sake of record and history. Should I decide to self-publish sometime next year, I will let Plato’s readers know about it come the time.
*[And just to quietly say that I’ve been at this writing thing all my life. I spent my youth in London as an underground poet (as opposed to what they call an ‘Uxbridge’ poet (meaning academic), reciting my poetry in public for years and getting published by alt zines and publications that are now defunct (I wore dark shades during these poetry performances to help me overcome my lingering shyness). Then, for many years, I worked with avant-garde composers: creating/marrying poems to sound textures (years before the phrase ‘spoken word’ was coined). Virgin records became interested in what I was doing and signed me to a ‘development deal’ that fell apart after three years of their nonsense (turned me off the concept of fame for life!). Post this, I became a screenwriter and screen-doctor in Hollywood to make money (but I wouldn’t exactly call that “artistic” writing). I left Los Angeles a decade ago to come and live in south Lebanon, with the idea of changing scenery and permanently returning to my poetic roots.]

I’m afraid the Beat Generation was before my time, although I did attend a festival of Beat Poetry with Alan Ginsberg as headliner at London’s Albert Hall (I think it was in the early ’90’s). I discovered on that night that Ginsberg was more of an indulgent and boring poetaster than an exciting and illuminating poet. I thought his whole histrionic ‘brand’ was riding on the coattails of his one-hit-wonder collection, ‘Howl’. And if we’re talking the Beat Gen here, then of course, Kerouac and Cassidy (what a dude!) are demi-gods next to that silly, ugly-faced Ginsberg and his pretentious, drugged-out and shallow-ditty-writing SF sycophants. The UK’s version of the Beat Gen was a ‘co-op trio’ known as the ‘Mersey Sound’ and they were no better really – no supreme, visionary inspiration there, just more indulgent post ’60’s sexual revolution antics, not poetics.
I’m afraid I was never moved by Horovitz’s poetry-lite. Yet, I was sad to hear of Horovitz’s passing – he had a reputation of being a sweet soul.

The search for truth and beauty always seems to arrive at the same revelation that it was around us all along. The political/media agenda is to distract from that reality and create a continual sense of unease. Just don't participate. Years ago I read a Rothschild quote " I never read the paper. If something important happens a friend will call and tell me about it."
I incorporated it years ago but still found myself chasing important stories. but fewer and fewer over the years. SyrPer was perhaps the largest most influential information site on Syria in the world. Many SyrPer members were like a ‘family’, each helping others in their constant quest for truth and finding ways to support Syrian efforts.
Then, suddenly without warning, that fine site was shut down – leaving its many members without a ‘home’ to help contribute to the success of the Axis of Resistance. We can only speculate regarding the cause of that abrupt shut-down. Some of us were happy to discover your great site, Plato, sharing up-to date news regarding Lebanon in particular and the Middle East at large – allowing us again in our quest for truth and contribution, to share and learn. Thanks so much for welcoming us. And, especially thanks for the brilliant host you were with your insights with depth.

I should tell you that, really, I try not to work with or offer ‘hope’. I endeavor to share facts on the ground and close-up observations that the jewy media denies its readers. One could say that everything that the jewy media says is pretty much the exact opposite of what’s really going on.
For instance, the Axis of Resistance is by far more powerful than the jewjurnos would have you believe. The Resistors are also by far the smarter, strategic thinker. A clear example of this is the latest round of the Iran nuke talks. Trump and israel thought they were top-smart and ‘tough’ to exit the deal, but this exit only proved to weaken israel and empower Iran further, bringing it now to the status of a nuclear-threshold nation – something that, had the deal remained unmolested by Trump and Shrumpstien, would not have been possible for Iran to arrive at. So now Iran negotiates from a position of more strength than the last round (with Obama admin), and president Biden, well, he presently has no choice but to make the Iran deal eventually work – and work it to Iran’s advantage and conditions to boot (conditions that not only demand the lifting of all sanctions, but also include a demand for compensation for profits lost during the breakage interim). Indeed, Biden has no choice but to make the deal work. Either that, or regional war. And Biden is NOT going anywhere near that war scenario, regardless of the jew’s incessant war-baiting and lunatic-whining.
Currently, israel stands insecure, aghast and petrified. With Iran now classified as a nuclear-threshold state, israel has consequentially lost its neighborhood-bully title: the very reason why it exists. With Iran now able to produce a nuke inside of a couple of months (if it so wished), a geostrategic paradigm shift has palpably occurred. The bully’s threats are now empty. It appears the war in Ukraine is not slowing down and may be setting the stage for a much wider war. I pray not. There is no unity on the Arab side, nor the artillery to conduct a conclusive raid on the occupiers. More land will be annexed into the swarm and more innocents will die, with lip service of condolence and rage from the neighboring arabs – then back to their respective opulent lives suckling off the the globalist teats.
This is a world infested with demons and the other denizens of Hades that overtook our dreams while we slept. We have lost the battle for the soul of humanity and we have succumbed to the depths of evil. We are many and they are few – and yet, we have failed to even scratch the veneer of their collective might. From what I can see in social media, a lot of American jews feel no empathy for Israel and rightly identify more as "American" rather than Israeli. It took the erasure through natural death of the older generations of jews and their (doctored) recollections of oppression.
